Kansas City’s Inaugural Big 12 5K Fun Run & Family Stroll

Kick off March basketball by participating in Kansas City’s Inaugural Big 12 5k Fun Run & Family Stroll on March 16th at 9a.m.  Set in the heart of Big 12 country, this 5k course will wind around downtown Kansas City through the Power & Light District.  (Click here to see the course map) The overall male and female winners will receive $1,000 in FREE GAS from Phillips 66 and be recognized at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship final.  Be one of the first 100 registered and receive a unique stocking cap.  Strollers are welcome for this family-friendly event.

All participants registered by March 14th will automatically be entered to win a pair of tickets to the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship final.*

NOTE:  Road closures will start at 9:00 a.m. and will remain closed until the last participant has completed the event.  Please refer to the course map for details about the specific roads that will be closed.

*The Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation is a registered charitable organization in the State of Missouri. The winner of the raffle will be drawn on Friday, March 15, 2013.
